‘The X Factor Philippines’ Begins Search
The country’s biggest and grandest musical event of the year kicks off this Saturday (June 23) as ABS-CBN premieres the much-awaited Philippine adaptation of the worldwide phenomenal hit ‘X Factor’ franchise, “The X Factor Philippines,” with KC Concepcion as host and Martin Nievera, Gary Valenciano, Charice Pempengco, and Pilita Corrales as celebrity judge-mentors.
“The X Factor Philippines” is searching for undiscovered talent 16 years old and above that will be divided into four categories: Girls, Boys, Adults and Groups. They should be willing to brave the panel for a chance to win the biggest prize in a Philippine singing competition, a whopping P4 million worth of prizes, and become the next Pinoy multimedia star.
After months of auditions in 70 cities across the country, more than 20,000 hopefuls flocked to the audition venues in hopes of fulfilling their dreams. But it wasn’t an easy ride for each and every one of them as they underwent a tedious screening process.
As early as the audition stage, the hopefuls must instantly impress the judges and at the same time an audience of thousands that can be a potential legion of fans. The auditionees need at least three yes’s from the judge-mentors to be able to proceed to the next stage— the Boot Camp.
In the Boot Camp, selected contestants will go through a series of performances that will further test their ‘x factor.’ This will enable the judge-mentors to select and trim them down to 20 contestants divided in four categories— five solo male contestants aged 16-25 or the “Boys,” five solo female contestants aged 16-25 or “Girls,” five solo contestants over 25 years old or the “Adults,” and five group contestants aged 16 and above or the “Groups.”
Before advancing to the Judges’ Homes stage, “The X Factor Philippines” producers will then reveal which category judge-mentors Martin, Gary, Charice, and Pilita will be mentoring. The judge-mentors then take the contestants to their respective “Judge’s Home” where they will select the best performers to take to the live show.
Only three contestants from each category will complete the final 12 contestants who will proceed in the last and final stage of the competition. At this point, the finalists must face the fifth and final judge who has the sole power to turn their dream of becoming a star into reality— the viewers.

Paulo Avelino Admits Coco Martin is His star

King of Comedy Critical Condition
But ABS-CBN correspondent Ginger Conejero later reported that the 84-year-old comedian has already been cleared of cleared of pneumonia.
Conejero said this was seen by the Quizon family as a positive development. However, she added that doctors are now concerned about the comedian's weakened kidneys.
In a text message sent to ABS-CBN News earlier on Wednesday, Quizon appealed for understanding if they can't talk about their father's condition right now.
Quizon also asked for prayers for his father's recovery.
Dad is critical at the moment. I hope you understand if I can't talk right now. Will update you later. We need your prayers," he texted.
Dolphy was rushed to the Makati Medical Center on June 9 due to pneumonia.
Last Monday, Quizon said that father was finally taken off his ventilator machine and was only dependent on an oxygen tank to assist in his breathing.
Quizon also said his family is grateful for all the prayers that were said for his dad, adding that they were overwhelmed by the amount of moral support their family received.

"Rolling in the deep" little girl wake up out of coma
In
April 2011, 7-year-old Charlotte Neve suffered a brain hemorrhage that left her
in a coma. Doctors told her mother Leila to start saying her goodbyes, so the
31-year old cuddled next to her daughter on the hospital bed...and something miraculous
happened.
Neve
began to sing Adele's "Rolling in
the Deep" to her daughter (one of her favorite songs) once it came on the
radio, and Charlotte smiled in response.
"I
couldn't believe it," Neve told The Telegraph. "It was the first time
she had reacted to anything since the hemorrhage. The nurses were astonished
and told me to keep singing, and she smiled again."
"It
was like she was rebooting," her mother said. And after some
physiotherapy, professional therapy, and speech therapy, Charlotte was able to
go home. "She was allowed to come home for a weekend to see how she was
and the first thing she said was 'home sweet home.'
"Charlotte
has been brilliant," Neve said. "She is so determined and brave. The
doctors have closed telling us what she should be able to do—because she has
amazed them so much."
Looks
like Adele's music can cure more than just a broken heart. This may be one of Adele's
biggest achievements.
The sneak peek of Breaking Dawn - Part 2
Directed by Bill Condon, Breaking Dawn Part 2 will close out The Twilight Saga with the conclusion of Stephenie Meyer's popular vampire story. When Part 1 left off, Bella had just given birth to her half-vampire baby girl and nearly died in the process. The film ended with her waking up, newly turned as a vampire. The previously released teaser showed us Bella exercising her newly acquired vampire abilities with a run through the forest. From what we're shown from the next new trailer, it looks like the Cullens are getting down to be. It begins with Bella getting to meet her baby daughter, and we later see her and Edward hugging. Life (or undeath) seems to be a happy situation for about two seconds (literally), after which Edward is shown saying the Volturi think Renesmee is an immortal child. Bella states what we all know. Renesmee wasn't bitten and turned into a vampire, she was born this way and not bitten,she's growing every single day.. Cut to Alice having a vision and breaking a pretty vase. The Volturi are coming! And we get one creepy scene of the Volturi vampires marching through the snow. They don't blend in at all, do they? Welcome to Forks! Danger and drama await!

What do we mean when we say End Times? Or what does
one mean by the term ‘End of Time’? The word ‘End Times’ can mean dissimilar
things to dissimilar people.
What does the Bible mean when it refers to End
Times? The Bible also refers to it as End of the Ages. In
fact the Bible refers to End Times as a commencement to a ‘New beginning’.
However what we need really to know is are
we living in the Bible End Times, as per the ‘Word of God’ –

Well there is much talk today and many prophecies
pointing that we are at the entrance of the End of the World. But what does the
Bible say of the ‘End of the World’?
‘End Times’ should not be confused with ‘End of the
World’. ‘End of the World’ can only happen after few big
events are content in God’s Calendar, which is well over a thousand years from
now. Never the less the next big event in God’s calendar and which is very
soon, is the Rapture of the Saints of Christ Jesus / assembly of Christ
faithful Bride to Him as Christ returns with the clouds of Heaven. Soon after
that the Earth will face God’s anger through horrible natural calamities as
never before.
‘The Mystery Unlocked’ brings us a ‘Good News’ of a
prophetical revelation which will be fulfilled on July 24, 2012, (as discovered
to this servant of God) when the faithful Bride of Christ only, will be
Gathered up / Rapture, to meet the Lord Jesus in the clouds.

Christ Jesus prophesied would come as in Matthew 22:1-14, and when it comes it

‘Ice Age 4: Continental Drift’ Review
Young music superstars Drake and Nicki Minaj debut as prehistoric elephants in “Ice Age 4: Continental Drift” where their characters are engulfed in the wake of global cataclysmic changes brought about by Scrat.
Scrat’s obsessively hilarious nutty pursuit of the cursed acorn brings waves of changes that trigger seas of adventure for Manny the mammoth (voiced by Ray Romano), Diego the tiger (Denis Leary) and Sid the sloth (John Leguizamo).
Along with their latest adventure are Manny’s beloved wife Ellie (Queen Latifah) and their now teenage daughter Peaches (Keke Palmer of Disney’s comedy teen series “True Jackson VP”). Manny and the headstrong Peaches have been quarreling, a relatable issue to any parent or teen since Manny is the prototypical overprotective dad.
Peaches’ biggest conflict with her dad stems from the increasing amount of time she’s spending with her teenage friends, especially Ethan, the famous Big Mammoth on Campus, voiced by hip hop sensation Drake. Meanwhile, Peaches’ romantic rival for Ethan’s affection is Steffie, one of the mammoth girls is voiced by rapper Nicki Minaj. Glee’s most followed cheerleader Heather Morris portrays another teen mammoth named Katie.
For Drake, working on ICE AGE: CONTINENTAL DRIFT was akin to joining a new family, and, as he puts it, “being on a big emotional roller coaster ride. I am thrilled to be part of it.”
Minaj, one of today’s brightest musical talents, notes that Steffie will do anything to hold on to her mammoth. “When she finds out that Peaches is after Ethan, she does what any stand-up woman would do – be really jealous and nasty,” says Minaj. Heather Morris’ Katie, another cool, Ice Age teen, has a distinctive look. “She is blond-haired and wears flowers in her hair,” says the “Glee” star. “And she gets to hang out with Steffie/Nicki Minaj!”
Outside of this in-crowd of teenage mammoth is Peaches’ closest friend named Louis, a prehistoric mole/meerkat voiced by Josh Gad (who stars in the smash Broadway hit “Book of Mormon”). Louis is a loyal pal to Peaches – he wishes it were more that friendship – but as Gad notes, “In the hierarchy of this high school-like environment, Louis would be the one everyone bullies. But Louis’ inner courage could change everything.”
Manny’s better half, Ellie, is an oasis of stability amid Manny’s frantic parenting. “Ellie and Manny balance each other,” says Queen Latifah, who returns as Ellie. “Manny is overprotective; Ellie is a little more relaxed and nurturing because she understands what Peaches is going through, especially with her crush on boys. As a teenager, everything seems like it’s the end of the world, and I don’t think that’s ever going to change.”
Despite her mom’s best efforts, Peaches, voiced by actress-singer Keke Palmer, rebels against Manny’s strict rules. “Peaches is going through some pretty mammoth stuff,” puns Palmer. “She’s ready to get out there and experience new things .” According to producer John C. Krizza Neri launches her first recording album
Protégé: The Battle For The Big Break’s very first grand champion Krizza Neri launch her first recording album today, June 19 at White House on the 84th Restobar, Sct. Tuason, Quezon City.
Neri’s self-titled album consists of 11 tracks including “The Good Daughter”, a GMA TV series theme song “Ba’t di ko ba nasabi?” which serves as the carrier single, with 2 OPM remakes viewing her soulful, edgy and R&B distinct voice.
Grand Winner Mentor, actress and singer-songwriter Aiza Seguerra produced the album under her owl label “Blackbird Music” and contributed two original tracks, “Kung Malalaman Mo” and “Look My Way.”

“I used to pray five times a day and yet I sinned. By understanding the Bible, the manual of life, I have learned that praying is not enough,” he said.
While his supporters cried foul over the judges’ decision to give Bradley the victory, Pacquiao has taken it all in stride, urging everyone to “accept it with all their heart.”
“Kailangan yung faith and belief natin hindi lang sa good times (We must keep our faith and belief not only in the good times),” he told the flood victims from his LA mansion.
“Even in bad times it should be the same. Even during storms,” he said.
Pacquiao flew home with his chief adviser Michael Koncz, and left behind his family, including his wife Jinkee and their four children in Los Angeles.
Pacquiao had hoped to enjoy more time with his family, and they had planned a trip to Disneyland. But he said things like this couldn’t wait.
Pacquiao was also scheduled to begin shooting his scenes for Rob Schneider’s Hollywood movie “Brass Knuckles” where he plays the role of a gangster.
The shooting was supposed to last a week, but the disaster in Sarangani has forced the boxer known as “The People’s Champion” to reschedule his shoot.
Pacquiao is also planning to visit Israel, and see for the first time its religious sites.
The military has reported 88 persons missing and more than 700 families displaced after massive flashfloods struck the towns of Glan and Maasim in Sarangani.
The victims are not packed in relief centers and barangay halls in the said towns.
Last December, Pacquiao and his wife flew to Cagayan de Oro, in a private plane owned by Chavit Singson, to distribute relief goods to victims of Tropical Storm Sendong.
“The evacuees were so happy to see Manny. Para silang nabuhayan ng loob. Some of them were almost in tears getting near Manny. They were so happy to see him,” said a member of Pacquiao’s staff.
Late in 2009, as he trained in Baguio City for his fight with Miguel Cotto, Pacquiao used his Sunday off to be with the victims of Typhoon Pepeng in Metro Manila.
It was a very dangerous move because even Baguio and the provinces leading to Manila were still reeling from the effects of the typhoon that left a thousand dead.
But Pacquiao ignored the danger to personally distribute a busload of relief goods.
“You know it’s dangerous, boss,” Koncz reportedly told Pacquiao before they left Baguio in the boxer’s black Hummer and a trail of SUVs and police escorts.
