End of Times

What do we mean when we say End Times? Or what does one mean by the term ‘End of Time’? The word ‘End Times’ can mean dissimilar things to dissimilar people.
What does the Bible mean when it refers to End Times? The Bible also refers to it as End of the Ages. In fact the Bible refers to End Times as a commencement to a ‘New beginning’. However what we need really to know is are we living in the Bible End Times, as per the ‘Word of God’ – The Holy Bible?
Well there is much talk today and many prophecies pointing that we are at the entrance of the End of the World. But what does the Bible say of the ‘End of the World’?
‘End Times’ should not be confused with ‘End of the World’. ‘End of the World’ can only happen after few big events are content in God’s Calendar, which is well over a thousand years from now. Never the less the next big event in God’s calendar and which is very soon, is the Rapture of the Saints of Christ Jesus / assembly of Christ faithful Bride to Him as Christ returns with the clouds of Heaven. Soon after that the Earth will face God’s anger through horrible natural calamities as never before.
‘The Mystery Unlocked’ brings us a ‘Good News’ of a prophetical revelation which will be fulfilled on July 24, 2012, (as discovered to this servant of God) when the faithful Bride of Christ only, will be Gathered up / Rapture, to meet the Lord Jesus in the clouds.
It’s an “INVITATION to a WEDDING BANQUET” which Christ Jesus prophesied would come as in Matthew 22:1-14, and when it comes it will go out first to the Invited (Christian Believers) and later on to all, inviting them for the Banquet (which God the Father holds for His Son – Jesus Christ).
The Book ‘The Mystery Unlocked’ also gives us clarity through scriptures how to be found not wanting in that Day of God’s wrath and how to be found worthy in the Day of Redemption of God’s people.

Many Bible Prophesies, are very soon coming to pass:
Isaiah 35:4 “Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God; He will come and save you
Isaiah 61:2 “To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD to, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn
Isaiah 63:4For the day of vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed has arrive

Christ Jesus prophetical words have today come to pass:
Mark 1:15
“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand;
repent and believe in the Gospel”.

For the Day of His Appearing will be a “DAY OF REJOICING” or a “DAY OF MOURNING” depending on what state He finds us (Obedient or Disobedient Believers). Let us as Believers take heed, lest we hear our Lord Jesus saying (as He prophesied in Luke 13:24-28):
“I never knew you”

The book ‘The Mystery Unlocked’ brings us this Great Prophetical Revelation of 2012, hidden for ages past, which now have been unlocked. It also brings out, how we can be that prepared Bride for Christ Jesus in these End Times just before His Return.
The Book also goes out (in these End Times), as a call to all, in the world, who have not yet taken the offer of a Loving but Holy God, who sacrificially sent us His only begotten Son ‘Jesus Christ’ to die for the sins of many, (through which ‘Act’ man was reconciled to God) by taking the penalty of their sins upon Himself at the Cross.
The Door is still open (before it soon shuts). Make no mistake, the bible says “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”. It is the last hour, the world is passing away and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God – only lives forever!

A very rare two-headed Albino California Kingsnake has become a popular attraction at Skazka Zoo in Ukraine

According to reports, the two heads of the snake react and eat separately.
“Sometimes one head wants to crawl in one direction and the other head in another direction,” zoo director Oleg Zubkov said.
Zoo officials say the snake sometimes even steal food from each other. Because of that, zoo workers have to put a barrier between the heads when feeding the snake.
The three-year-old, two-foot-long (60 centimeter) reptile is extremely rare, appearing once in every 50 years.
Visitor numbers had nearly doubled since it went on display in early July, said zoo keeper Yakovenko.
The two-headed snake will be on display at the zoo until Mid-September.

someone pay $2 million for this old photograph?

Turns out that the credit card-sized ferrotype is the only surviving authenticated portrait of Billy the Kid—the notorious Wild West outlaw and beloved folk hero. The ferrotype is an early form of photo using sheets of iron metal.

Billionaire William Koch, founder of Oxbow Carbon and a well-known art and antiques collector, paid a whopping $2.3 million for the picture, which was auctioned off at Brian Lebel’s 22nd Annual Old West Show & Auction in Denver, Colorado last night. A 15 percent fee was added to the bidding price, making the selling price more than $2.6 million.

The portrait was believed to be taken in late 1879 or early 1880 in New Mexico. The Kid (a.k.a. William Henry McCarty, Henry Antrim and William H. Bonney) reportedly paid 25 cents to have the photo taken. According to legend, the 19th-century American frontier gunslinger killed 21 men, but many historians believe the number was closer to nine. He died in 1881 at the hands of Lincoln County Sheriff Pat Garrett when he was only 22. Last December, outgoing New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson declined to grant a posthumous pardon to the infamous outlaw.

I don’t dig why uber wealthy people buy and collect antiques. I guess they never got hand-me downs growing up.

NASA released the first picture taken of Mercury's surface by the US space agency's orbiting Messenger craft

WASHINGTON (AFP) – NASA released the first picture taken of Mercury's surface by the US space agency's orbiting Messenger craft.

"Early this morning, at 5:20 am EDT (0920 GMT), Messenger captured this historic image of Mercury," NASA said.

"This image is the first ever obtained from a spacecraft in orbit about the solar system's innermost planet."

The spacecraft snapped 363 images over the next six hours, and more were expected to be released Wednesday in conjunction with an expert press conference to discuss the findings.

The upper part of the image shows an unusual, dark-rayed crater called Debussy, while the lower part reveals a portion of Mercury near its south pole that has never before been witnessed by spacecraft, NASA said.

NASA's Messenger craft -- which stands for MErcury Surface, Space ENvironment, GEochemistry, and Ranging -- became the first vehicle to orbit Mercury on March 17.

Messenger was launched more than six years ago, traveling through the inner solar system and embarking on flybys of Earth, Venus and Mercury.

The first NASA craft to study Mercury since the Mariner mission more than three decades ago, Messenger has already been able to return a partial map of the planet's crater-filled surface after just a handful of flybys.

Grand Lotto winner let another bettor cut in line to win the P740-M pot

The New York-based balikbayan could have missed the mind-boggling jackpot if he did not let another bettor cut in line at the lotto ticket outlet. The winner of the P740-million Grand Lotto jackpot “generously" let another person place her bet first and waited for his turn before he could place his winning combination for the lottery prize, a Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) official said Thursday. The PCSO earlier said that the Grand Lotto winner, who placed his bet at an outlet in Olongapo City in Zambales, used the “Lucky Pick" method, which generates randomly selected numbers, to come up with the winning combination. (See: Jackpot! Olongapo bettor wins P741.176-M lotto prize) “May sumingit na babae bago siya tumaya pero hindi siya nagalit at pinabayaan niya. Mukhang mabait talaga siyang tao," PCSO chair Margie Juico told GMANews.TV in a phone interview on Thursday night.

(A woman cut in line before he could place his bet, but he kept his cool and allowed her to place her bet first.)

The woman also used the “Lucky Pick" method, which meant that if she hadn’t cut in line, she would have received the winning combination. “Imagine, kung hindi sumingit ‘yung babae at hinintay, siya dapat ang nanalo," Juico added.

Juico said the Grand Lotto winner, a 60-year-old married man with three children, was a balikbayan from New York in the United States, who returned to the Philippines for a “sentimental journey" in his home country. “He has been staying in the US for a long time. He went back to the Philippines to visit places. Nagkatuwaan lang silang magkakapatid na tumaya sa Subic at doon siya sinwerte [He and his siblings agreed to place a bet at Subic, just for fun, and he got lucky]," she said. The PCSO chairperson, who personally handed the prize to the winner on Thursday afternoon, described the balikbayan as a “kind-looking" man. (See: Lucky bettor claims P741-M Grand Lotto prize) “Nakakatuwa kasi simple lang talaga siya at mukhang mabait. Sinabi niya sa akin na madasalin din siya. Dininig ang panalangin niya," she said.

Spanish Woman Claimed that the Sun owned by Her!

Take note people, the use of the Sun, yes, that great ball of fire in the sky, is no longer free.

A Spanish woman has claimed that she has obtained a legal document that designates her as the rightful owner of the center of the Solar System, and therefore authorized to collect fees for its use. Angeles Duran said in an interview with El Mundo newspaper’s online edition that she has a notarized document to prove her ownership of the Sun.

The 49-year-old from the town of Salvaterra de Mino said her document does not violate international law because only countries are prohibited from claiming ownership of planets and stars, not private individuals. “There was no snag, I backed my claim legally, I am not stupid, I know the law. I did it but anyone else could have done it, it simply occurred to me first,” she said.

According to her purported legal document, she is the “owner of the Sun, a star of spectral type G2, located in the center of the solar system, located at an average distance from Earth of about 149,600,000 kilometers.”

As for the proceeds of her “income” from collecting fees for the use of the Sun, Duran said she would get only 10 percent, with the Spanish government getting 50 percent. The remaining 40 percent will be set aside for pension fund, research, and food for the poor, she said.

A mid-18th century Chinese vase found

A mid-18th century Chinese vase found at a north-west London house has been sold for $68.9 million on Thursday, setting a new record for a Chinese work of art, a small auction house that carried the sale said.

The 16-inch high Qing Dynasty vase was sold by Bainbridges auction house to a private buyer from mainland China. The antique was believed to have been made around 1740 during the reign of Emperor Qianlong and was brought to London in the 1930s, when the Second Opium War ended. A brother and sister found the vase while they were clearing out their parents’ house in Pinner, a suburb in north-west London.

A researcher for Bainbridges said the siblings who found the vase never thought that the piece would sell for such a huge price. “They were hopeful but they didn’t dare believe until the hammer went down. When it did, the sister had to go out of the room and have a breath of fresh air,” Bainbridges researcher Helen Porter said. The double-walled, sky blue and yellow-colored vase with intricate fish and floral designs was estimated to sell for around $2 million.

facebook in Email?

Is Facebook aiming for the email market this time? According to a report by Techcrunch.com, Facebook is set to launch a full email service that could compete with Gmail, among other more established names.

Techcrunch reports that an invitation-only event on Monday has been set up by Facebook to officially launch “Project Titan,” the name of the web based email service that Mark Zuckerberg and company have been planning for a time now. The unveiling of “Project Titan,” according to reports, could take place at the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco, as hinted by the invitation sent to selected people.

The news about the Facebook email service comes after Google excluded Facebook from its policy of allowing users to export their Gmail contacts. Google’s move was a response to Facebook’s export restriction, which prevents users from exporting contacts and data out of the social networking site.

And as speculations about a Facebook email service become stronger, rumors are also circulating that Google is developing its own social network, making a head-on collision between the two Internet players inevitable.

The Northern Lights have petered out during the second half of this decade

The Northern Lights have petered out during the second half of this decade, becoming rarer than at any other time in more than a century, the Finnish Meteorological Institute said Tuesday.

The Northern Lights, or aurora borealis, generally follow an 11-year "solar cycle", in which the frequency of the phenomena rises to a maximum and then tapers off into a minimum and then repeats the cycle.

"The solar minimum was officially in 2008, but this minimum has been going on and on and on," researcher Noora Partamies told AFP.

"Only in the past half a year have we seen more activity, but we don't really know whether we're coming out of this minimum," she added.

[Oceans of fire? A 'dance' of dead spirits? Myths and facts about the polar auroras' curtains of light]

The Northern Lights, a blaze of coloured patterns in the northern skies, are triggered by solar winds crashing into the earth and being drawn to the magnetic poles, wreaking havoc on electrons in the parts of the atmosphere known as the ionosphere and magnetosphere.

So a dimming of the Northern Lights is a signal that activity on the sun which causes solar winds, such as solar flares and sun sports, is also quieting down.

For researchers like Partamies, it is the first time they can observe through a network of modern observation stations what happens to this solar cycle when it becomes as badly disrupted as it is now.

"We're waiting to see what happens, is the next maximum going to be on time, is it going to be late, is it going to be huge?" Partamies said.

During the cycle's peak in 2003, the station on Norway's Svalbard island near the North Pole, showed that the Northern Lights were visible almost every single night of the auroral season, which excludes the nightless summer months.

That figure has fallen to less than 50y percent, while the southernmost station, situated in southern Finland, has been registering only two to five instances annually for the past few years.

Philippines is the # 7 rank in the world beauty pageant

The fourth runner up finish of Venus Raj in the recently-concluded Miss Universe 2010 pageant put the Philippines in 7th place of the world’s beauty pageant ranking.

Pageant website globalbeauties.com has been ranking more than 150 countries based on their performance in major beauty pageants in the world: Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth and Miss International. They give points to each winning, runner-ups and semi-final placements from each country and consolidate their totals to determine their ranking.

The Philippines ranked 8th in 2009 but after the fourth runner up finish of Venus Raj in the Miss Universe pageant, RP climbed one notch to no. 7 behind pageant leaders Venezuela, USA, India and Mexico:

The ranking changes after each one of the grand slam pageants conclude.

The next update is after the 50th Annual Miss International pageant on November 7 which is happening in China. RP’s bet for the said pageant is Jay-R‘s girlfriend Krista Arrieta Kleiner.

Fisherman Raphael Biagini reeled in what is believed to be a 30-pound koi carp in France

This just in from the "strange but probably true" files. Fisherman Raphael Biagini reeled in what is believed to be a 30-pound koi carp in France, where the fish are quite popular. The fish, a vivid orange, looks a great deal like a giant goldfish. The photo is several months old, but it's buzzing right now, thanks to an article from the U.K.'s Daily Mail.
